Can I get any rebates for my Emsella treatments?

One of our biggest passions at Core Restore Co is to make women’s health treatment accessible to everyone who needs it and unfortunately, we don’t believe there are enough systems and rebates in place.

We’re constantly asked whether Emsella or Emsculpt are eligible for Medicare benefits, so here’s the rundown on Medicare, as well as some information on the Government’s CAPS scheme to help you keep costs down.

Can I get Medicare rebates?

Although we are working behind the scenes to increase coverage when it comes to pelvic floor and postpartum care, currently treatments at Core Restore Co are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

Does private health insurance cover treatment?

The same goes for private health insurance. Until we get broader acknowledgment of the severity of women’s pelvic floor concerns – which is why we’re constantly aiming to break the stigma and get as many testimonials as possible – private health cover is unlikely to provide coverage or benefits for Core Restore Co treatments. We promise to continue to advocate for each of you until we make a change – it’s our life mission.

What rebates can I access toward my Emsella treatment?

Here’s the good news. The Government has the CAPS program which – for eligible candidates – provides up to a $650 rebate towards incontinence treatments and products – and Emsella is one of those treatments! The great news is that you can apply at any stage with your GP, even if you’ve already started treatment with us (as the payment is a cash payment made into your bank account).
